John Lockhart was called to the bar in 1977, after taking his law degree at the University of Toronto, and his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph. John started his career at the firm of West & Robb in Brampton where he met Doug Tannahill. They became partners in 1978.

John carries on a general practice with an emphasis on general litigation, estate litigation, wills, and real estate. John is a proud member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

A practicing Christian, John has served in the past on the boards of The Calcutta Mission of Mercy, the Brampton Life Centre and Kennedy Road Tabernacle and is presently on the executive of the Christian Legal Fellowship. John believes his faith perspective assists him in meeting his clients’ needs in the appropriate areas.

John lives with his wife Claire in Brampton.
